Military personnel and first responders accept responsibilities that require discipline, judgment, readiness, and service to others.
The Eftsona Veterans & First Responders Program recognizes people whose military or emergency-service experience reflects those responsibilities. Program recognition is optional. Free Investigator membership is available to everyone without an application or service verification.
This is not a discount campaign, paid partnership, official decoration, professional credential, or promotional exchange. It is Eftsona’s independent recognition of service.
Library Access
Free Investigator Membership
Create a free Investigator account to access the investigation library immediately. Applying for Veterans & First Responders recognition is separate from library access.
Included Access
Full Investigation Library
Free membership includes the Investigation Library, Atlas, Deep Dives, and member publications. Bookshop purchases and Academy enrollment are separate.
Optional Recognition
Eligibility and Good Standing
Program recognition may continue while the participant remains eligible and the program remains available. Eftsona may periodically request reasonable confirmation for that recognition. Library access does not depend on service eligibility.
Service verification applies only to program recognition. Free membership remains subject to Eftsona’s Terms of Service.
Worldwide Eligibility
Who May Apply for Recognition
Applications are welcomed worldwide. Military organizations, emergency services, titles, and employment structures differ between countries and jurisdictions, so these examples are illustrative rather than exhaustive.
Military Service
- Veterans and former members of a recognized national armed service.
- Active-duty service members.
- Reserve, national-guard, and comparable service members.
- Other equivalent military-service categories that can be reasonably verified.
First Responders
- Law enforcement.
- Emergency dispatch and communications.
- Emergency medical services, EMTs, and paramedics.
- Fire service.
- Search and rescue.
- Other comparable emergency-response or public-safety roles.
Current, former, and retired personnel may apply. Paid, volunteer, reserve, or auxiliary service may be considered when the role was formally recognized and can be reasonably verified. The examples above do not guarantee eligibility.
Eftsona reviews equivalent titles and service structures individually and makes its own program-eligibility determination.
Application Review
A Respectful, Individual Review
The process is designed to confirm eligibility while limiting the amount of service and personal information applicants must provide.
Submit the Application
Provide your name, country, program category, service role or branch, current or former status, professional contact information, and the basic information needed to understand your eligibility.
Do not include operational details, protected case information, personnel information about another person, or information related to an active investigation.
Eftsona Verifies Eligibility
Verification ordinarily relies on a professional or agency email address, public directory, professional profile, recognized service organization, or another reasonable public source. Limited, redacted supporting information or manual review may be requested when needed.
Receive the Decision
If clarification is needed, Eftsona may contact the applicant using the email address provided. Approved applicants receive information about their program recognition. No approval is needed to create a free Investigator account.
Applications are reviewed individually. Review time may vary according to verification needs and application volume. Submission does not guarantee approval.
Program Boundaries
Recognition Without Authority or Obligation
Participation carries no obligation to promote, endorse, post about, refer others to, collaborate with, or create material for Eftsona.
Independent Recognition
No Official Status or Authority
Participation does not make an applicant an employee, agent, representative, accredited professional, official investigator, security officer, or law-enforcement authority of Eftsona. It does not grant a license, professional certification, official credential, military or agency decoration, operational authority, or special legal status.
Eftsona is independent of governments, armed services, law-enforcement agencies, fire and emergency-medical services, dispatch centers, search-and-rescue organizations, and employing agencies. Participation does not imply endorsement by any such organization or by Eftsona.
Any Eftsona program patch, profile recognition, or membership designation is an internal feature—not official insignia, proof of service, identification, a badge, a credential, or authorization to act for Eftsona or another organization.
Information and Privacy
Limited, Purposeful Use
Application information is used to evaluate eligibility, communicate with applicants, and administer the program. It is handled under the Eftsona Privacy Policy and may be processed by service providers needed to operate the application and membership systems.
Eftsona does not sell application information or require promotional participation. Do not submit an unredacted discharge record, government identification, badge or credential image, medical or personnel record, service number, home address, or information about another person.
If supporting information is requested, redact identification numbers, dates of birth, signatures, barcodes, QR codes, medical information, addresses, and every detail not necessary to confirm eligibility.
