Eftsona is built around careful inquiry, responsible records, and respect for the people who use its work. That responsibility extends to personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Eftsona collects, why it is used, when it may be shared, how long it may be retained, and the choices available to you.
We collect and use personal information with purpose, restraint, and accountability.

The Essential Points
This summary helps you locate the central terms quickly. The numbered sections below provide the complete policy.
What We Collect
Information you provide, account and membership records, transaction information, form submissions, Academy and member-feature activity, and limited technical information generated when the site is used.
Why We Use It
To operate Eftsona, provide requested services, administer memberships and learning activity, process transactions, communicate with you, improve the site, protect the platform, and meet legal obligations.
When It Is Shared
Only as needed with service providers that help operate Eftsona, when you direct or authorize disclosure, or when disclosure is reasonably necessary for legal, security, or protective purposes.
Your Choices
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of certain personal information. You may also unsubscribe from promotional email.
Eftsona does not sell or rent personal information and does not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Application
Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through eftsona.com, Eftsona membership and newsletter services, the Eftsona Academy, contact and submission forms, member tools, digital publications, transactions, and other online services that link to this policy.
It does not govern websites or services operated independently by third parties. Those services maintain their own privacy practices and policies.
By using an Eftsona service or providing information to Eftsona, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. Where consent is required by law, Eftsona will seek it separately and will not rely solely on your general use of the website.
Collection
Information We Collect
The information collected depends on how you use Eftsona.
Information You Provide Directly
Eftsona may collect:
- Your name, email address, and communication preferences.
- Membership level, subscription status, and related account information.
- Information included in contact requests, support inquiries, correction notices, website-problem reports, media requests, partnership inquiries, or other correspondence.
- Questions submitted through the Question Box, including any context, sources, or attribution information you choose to provide.
- Information supplied when registering for or using Eftsona Academy services.
- Information connected with purchases, paid memberships, refunds, or other transactions.
- Any other information you voluntarily submit to Eftsona.
Please provide only information you are authorized to share. Do not submit passwords, authentication codes, full payment-card details, sensitive personal information about another person, unlawfully obtained material, or information that could interfere with an active law-enforcement, legal, or regulatory matter.
Account, Membership, and Member Features
Eftsona may maintain member identification and account status; membership level and subscription dates; newsletter preferences; access to member-only services; Curiosity Profile, Reading Desk, archive, completion, or similar activity; and related communications or support records.
Academy and Learning Records
Eftsona Academy provides courses exclusively for avocational and personal education. Its programs are not designed to prepare learners for employment, professional practice, occupational licensing, or the continuing education of a profession.
If you apply to or use Eftsona Academy, Eftsona may maintain account identifiers, display name, birth year, country or region, application statements, policy acknowledgments, student number or learner identifier, enrollment and purchase records, course access, progress, assessment attempts and scores, examination results, capstones, practical projects, submitted work, feedback, academic-integrity and remediation records, conduct matters, support communications, certificates, Specialty Study records, Registry verification activity, device and security information, and legally required transaction or audit records.
Eftsona uses Academy records to administer applications and access, deliver avocational education, evaluate work, document completion, maintain certificate and audit records, protect learners and systems, investigate misuse, process transactions and refunds, respond to requests, comply with law, and preserve the integrity of its programs.
Academy Registry House
Public Registry House verification requires a certificate or verification number already supplied by the holder. It may show the approved display name, internal educational rank or Specialty Study, issue or completion date, verification number, and current record status. Registry House is not a searchable directory of people.
An Academy rank is an internal educational rank documenting avocational course completion—not a professional title, occupational credential, or license.
Email addresses, physical addresses, student numbers, birth year, location, grades, assessment attempts, submissions, feedback, payment information, remediation, complaints, conduct records, and internal notes are not public verification fields. Eftsona may correct an inaccurate display field while preserving the underlying audit history.
Transaction and Payment Information
Payments for memberships or other Eftsona offerings are processed through Stripe or another disclosed payment provider. Eftsona may receive transaction records such as the purchaser's name, email address, billing location, payment status, amount, date, subscription status, and limited payment-method information.
Eftsona does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers through its ordinary Stripe payment flow. Payment providers process payment credentials under their own privacy policies and security practices.
Forms and Editorial Submissions
Eftsona uses online forms for contact requests, corrections, support, the Question Box, and other submissions. Information entered into a form is received by Eftsona and may also be processed by the form provider used to deliver that form.
Questions submitted through the Question Box may be reviewed, edited for clarity, combined with similar questions, or selected for future investigation. Submissions are generally treated anonymously unless you request attribution and Eftsona agrees to provide it. If attribution is approved, the agreed name or attribution may become public.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit or use the site, Eftsona and its service providers may automatically process limited technical information, including:
- IP address and general location derived from it.
- Browser, device, and operating-system information.
- Requested pages, referring pages, dates, times, and general interaction data.
- Security, performance, error, and network-routing information.
- Cookie, session, or local-storage data needed for sign-in, preferences, and site functions.
- For logged-in members, member identification and free or paid status associated with first-party content analytics.
This information helps deliver the site, maintain security, diagnose problems, understand general use, and improve Eftsona's services.
