Educators help people ask stronger questions, examine evidence carefully, and develop habits of curiosity that can last a lifetime.
The Eftsona Educator Program recognizes education professionals whose work aligns with Eftsona’s commitment to inquiry, discovery, critical thinking, and credible investigation. Educator recognition is optional. Free Investigator membership is available to everyone without an application or professional verification.
This is not a discount, paid partnership, professional credential, or promotional exchange. It is Eftsona’s recognition of work that helps others learn how to question carefully and follow evidence responsibly.
Library Access
Free Investigator Membership
Create a free Investigator account to access the investigation library immediately. Applying for Educator recognition is separate from library access.
Included Access
Full Investigation Library
Free membership includes the Investigation Library, Atlas, Deep Dives, and member publications. Bookshop purchases and Academy enrollment are separate.
Optional Recognition
Educational Role and Good Standing
Educator recognition may continue while the participant remains professionally eligible and the program remains available. Eftsona may periodically request reasonable confirmation for that recognition. Library access does not depend on professional eligibility.
Professional verification applies only to Educator recognition. Free membership remains subject to Eftsona’s Terms of Service.
Worldwide Eligibility
Who May Apply for Recognition
Applications are welcomed worldwide from education professionals whose current work contributes directly to teaching, inquiry, critical thinking, curriculum, or lifelong learning. Titles and institutional structures vary between countries, so these examples are illustrative rather than exhaustive.
Teaching and Instruction
- K–12 teachers.
- Community-college instructors.
- College and university teaching faculty.
- Gifted, interdisciplinary, and special education teachers.
- Career, technical, adult education, and language-learning instructors.
- Homeschool educators.
Instructional Leadership and Support
- Instructional coaches and curriculum specialists.
- School administrators and academic deans focused on instruction.
- Educational nonprofit professionals whose primary work involves teaching or curriculum.
- Other comparable education professionals.
Applicants should have a current educational role or affiliation that Eftsona can reasonably verify.
School librarians and media specialists whose principal work centers on libraries, archives, or collections may be better suited to the Eftsona Museum & Library Program. Those with a substantial instructional role remain welcome to apply here.

A Straightforward, Individual Review
The process is designed to confirm an educational role without creating unnecessary burden for the applicant.
Submit the Application
Provide your name, country or region, educator role, institution or educational setting, professional contact information, and the basic information needed to understand your eligibility.
Eftsona Verifies Eligibility
Verification ordinarily relies on an educational email address, institutional website, staff or faculty directory, professional profile, or similar public source. Limited supporting information or manual review may be requested when needed.
Receive the Decision
If clarification is needed, Eftsona may contact the applicant using the email address provided. Approved applicants receive information about their Educator Program recognition. No approval is needed to create a free Investigator account.
Most applications are reviewed within a few business days. Additional verification or periods of high application volume may require more time. Submission does not guarantee approval.
Program Boundaries
Recognition Without Obligation
Participation carries no obligation to promote, endorse, post about, refer others to, or create material for Eftsona.
Professional Independence
No Employment, Accreditation, or Endorsement
Participation does not make an applicant an employee, agent, representative, accredited professional, or official investigator of Eftsona. It does not imply that the participant’s school, institution, employer, students, or governing education authority endorses Eftsona, or that Eftsona endorses them.
Educators may occasionally be invited to offer feedback, recommend investigations, or help inform future resources. Every invitation is optional, and declining has no effect on eligibility.
Future educator resources are intended to complement—not replace—educator expertise, professional judgment, curriculum requirements, accessibility responsibilities, or teaching methods.
Information and Privacy
Limited, Purposeful Use
Application information is used to evaluate eligibility, communicate with applicants, and administer the program. It is handled under the Eftsona Privacy Policy and may be processed by service providers needed to operate the application and membership systems.
Eftsona does not sell application information or require promotional participation. Do not submit student names, student records, protected educational information, or government-issued identification. Redact sensitive identifiers from any optional supporting document.
